SPS Door Systems
The SPS hollow-metal blast door system designs are designed in accordance with ASTM F2927 Category II door response, and the door systems are designed to be operable after the blast event. Our licensed fabricators are located in North America as well as the Middle East.
Extreme Loading Testing and Performance Validation
SPS hollow-metal door systems are designed for various blast loading ranges and performance criteria, applicable for both intentional blast loads resulted from vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) threats at various stand-off distances, as well as accidental explosion scenarios up to 10 psi (69 kPa) free-field overpressure and duration of 200 msec.
Blast Testing
In addition to the current SPS hollow-metal blast door designs, SPS is currently developing single leaf and overhead blast door systems with an integrated Extreme-Woodlam™ technology. Further details of the SPS current blast door products, test reports, associated performance, licensed fabricators, along upcoming door development programs can be requested and released to the authorized organizations.
